This large carved wooden Kiwi Bird will be one of those future heirlooms.

Carved from sustainably harvested Pacific Kauri, the Kiwi bird has been carved to really show off the beauty of both the bird and the wood.

The bird measures about 17.2cm x 11.4cm x 8.4cm (6 3/4' x 4 1/2' x 3 1/4'). 'NZ' and a fern are carved into the base. It's a beautiful piece, solid, and looks great from any angle.

I can see it looking good on an office front desk, on a mantlepiece or table, be it in New Zealand or overseas.
